PLEASE NOTE: Basset Hound Rescue of Ontario is NOT a shelter. We do not have an office or staff, nor do we have a kennel facility. Bassets in our care are fostered in the private homes of our volunteer foster families.

All of us involved with BHRO are unpaid volunteers. We have full time jobs, families and bassets of our own, and we devote what free time we are able to helping basset hounds in need.

Please be patient and understanding of the above when waiting for a response from one of our volunteers.
